Frances Meredith, MD, is board-certified in Functional Medicine and Pathology, with over 20 years of experience in Primary Care and Infectious Disease before transitioning to Functional Medicine in 2017. Her passion for concussion care grew from her shift to "root cause" medicine and personal experiences with patients and family. After training at UVA and Duke, now focuses on proactive, systems-based care for complex illnesses. Inspired by her twin sons’ concussion recoveries, Dr. Meredith is committed to improving concussion care and equipping families with tools for timely intervention. Beyond medicine, she is a mother, Argentine tango dancer, and music enthusiast.

Dr. Robert Baric lives a life dedicated to health and wellness and is committed to your long-term health. A 25+ year practitioner and advocate for treating the root of the problems rather than masking the symptoms, he introduced decades-old Neurofeedback Therapy to West Cary in 2016 with the opening of MyBrainDR. Dr. Baric is certified in acupuncture, nutrition, pediatric chiropractic, various chiropractic techniques, therapies, and practices such as applied kinesiology and more.

As the Executive Director of MyConcussionDR.com, Kali brings years of experience in healthcare leadership, patient support, and community outreach to her role. She has worked closely with medical teams, clinics, and schools, giving her a strong understanding of both the clinical side of care and the day-to-day needs of patients and families.
Kali focuses on building meaningful partnerships, creating resources that people can actually use, and leading programs that bridge medical expertise with real-world support. She has a background in healthcare operations and patient care coordination, which has shaped her practical, people-first approach to leadership.
Her passion for this work comes from a simple belief: no one should have to navigate recovery alone. Through MyConcussionDR.com, Kali is dedicated to making information, support, and hope accessible to anyone affected by concussion.

Brian C. Spann, Sr. is the Vice President of Athletic Partnerships at MyConcussionDr., where he leads efforts to build meaningful relationships with athletic organizations, schools, and communities to advance concussion education, prevention, and care.
A former basketball standout from Franklinton High School, Brian continued his athletic journey at North Carolina Central University, where he won the 1991 Slam Dunk Championship. He later pursued a professional basketball career as a free agent from 2000 to 2003. His background as an athlete fuels his passion for player safety and long-term health.
Brian is also a martial artist, actor, musician, singer, and songwriter, whose creative and disciplined approach enriches his work in health, sports, and community outreach. As a contracted photographer for the Las Vegas Aces and the founder of Spann Man Media, Brian’s work has been nationally featured in Monarch Magazine and NC Weddings Magazine.
With over 30 years in ministry under the mentorship of Apostle John A. Bennett and 26 years of healthcare leadership with Duke University Health Systems, Brian brings a unique blend of service, leadership, and healthcare expertise to MyConcussionDr. He also has a strong background in sales management from his tenure with Marriott.
Brian is a proud advocate of the SAFE Initiative (Sanitation, Antimicrobial Solutions, Facility Readiness and Response, and Education on Concussion Awareness), providing schools, companies, and communities with vital resources for safety and concussion awareness.
His professional affiliations include Next Level Performance, pH Prescription, The Oaktree (a carbon-negative company focused on water, agriculture, and energy), and NeuroGuard Plus.
Originally from Franklinton, North Carolina, and now residing in Durham, Brian is a devoted husband to Sylvia Crawley Spann, father to Brian, Nubian, and Brianna Spann, and proud grandfather to Brian Spann III and Takaeo Alexander Spann. Through every platform—whether in athletics, healthcare, media, or ministry—Brian is committed to empowering others, bridging communities, and promoting athlete safety at every level.
